Wow! We were passing through on 81 And stopped for lunch. The food was incredible! Delicious drinks too and our server was very nice. We had our 5 month old daughter with us so we sat outside. It was a gorgeous day and the patio is very nicely decorated. A gem of 81. Highly recommended!!

Three words - fa - bu - lous! -Oprah Winfrey That is honestly how i felt. The food was phenomenal, the staff and management were 5+ stars! I stayed two nights during the holiday season, and had an amazing time. All employees were courteous, helpful and genuinely pleasant to be around. The inn's decor had a very homey vibe. If i didn't know i was in a hotel, i could have sworn i was at home. Great Bar! Great Food! Great Rooms! It also has a great location if you are in the area for skiing/ many other outdoor activities!

Overall, very disappointed. I stayed for 5 nights while visiting family. My room was cleaned only once (the last day), even after requesting it multiple times. Frequently there is no one around and you have to go to the bar to find someone to talk about the hotel. My sink was leaky. The bedspread was stained. Breakfast is an after-thought. Basically, this is simply a Restaurant with some rooms for rent. Their focus is clearly on the dining area and not the living conditions.

Had a wonderful stay at the Camelot Restaurant and Inn over New Years! What an adorable little place. Very cozy, and just made you feel like home. We loved being here for the holidays. I felt like I was staying at the inn in the movie White Christmas. Karen, the manager, was so welcoming, and friendly. The staff was great, too. We had a very large group for dinner (more than 10 people), and ordered off of the Prix Fixe NYE menu. Everyone's meal came out at the same time, and the food was great! Everyone loved the crab mac, and the onion soup was perfect for a cold night. For my entree, I had the filet mignon-- the raspberry merlot glaze added amazing flavor! In addition to the great food, the atmosphere was perfect. Fire burning, live piano serenading us, drinks flowing. An overall great evening. Will definitely go back for a retreat from city life!

This place was fantastic all around. Manager Karen was extremely nice and hospitable, bar and beer selection was great, food was basically the best hotel type food ive ever had, super nice place. Only thing that was a little annoying was that it was 25 min to elk mountain for skiing, which was why we were there, but so what, I'd totally go back! They deserve these 5 stars!

I stayed at the Camelot Inn over New Years eve with a group of friends and we all had an awesome time. The feel of the inn was very quaint and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had New Years Eve dinner at the restaurant and the meals were fantastic. The staff was very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Our busboy Luke was one of a kind, he was hard worker and made sure we never had an empty glass! After dinner we had a great time dancing and drinking in the well stocked bar. The manager, Karen, welcomed us all as if we had known her for years. I would recomend the Camelot Restaurant and Inn to anyone who likes to have a relaxing time and enjoy good food and drinks!

My wife and I stayed here last Thanksgiving weekend, and I completely forgot to write a review before we were looking at pictures this weekend. We had such a good time I was compelled to write something. The place was very warm and comforting, and the perfect retreat from the city (we're from Hoboken, NJ and work in NYC). Great atmosphere in the restaurant (we ate there one of our two nights) as it's rustic, yet modern at the same time. The fireplace was burning and the drinks were fantastic. I had the grilled veal flank steak and my wife had the cinnamon dusted cornish game hen. Absolutely stellar. We still talk about how good the food was! The inn part of Camelot was comfortable and felt like home. The inn-taker who I believe was the General Manager was friendly and helpful - even giving us her cell-phone number in case we needed anything at anytime (on Thanksgiving no less). The entire place was very tastefully decorated for the holidays (candles, garland, wreaths, etc.) and made us feel like we were taken right out of the 1940's film Holiday Inn. We had a great stay and will definitely swing by for dinner/drinks again if we're driving by on 81.

I had high hopes for this place. The setting is beautiful and the inside is warm and inviting. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken quickly.I ordered a Tanqueray on the rocks and my date had a draft beer. Both were fine. We started with the calamari appetizer. It was very good. I ordered a skirt steak with brown butter gnocchi. The steak was just OK and the gnocchi's were not very good. They were very gummy and I only got five. My date ordered paella which had a layer of overdone rice on the top that was inedible . After he got into his meal the layer underneath was was fairly good. When we mentioned to the waitress the crunchy rice on top the response was that well it's probably okay underneath. I think you should be able to eat all of your meal especially when you're paying a decent price for it. Overall, our experience was okay. In the future we may give it another try. We will probably sit at the bar and try sandwiches or burgers. A lot of money for a mediocre meal.

Braised BBQ Chicken Flat bread was to die for, shrimp was also great... the drinks were good too.. The service on the other hand was not so great, and thus the reason for my 3 star rating. Next time we will sit at the bar.

I have to add an update. I am sorry to say that some time ago Camelot lost their executive chef and it has not been the same place since. It is ok, but not exciting like it once was. I went from going every week last year to not going anymore. I am sad! Very sad!! So sorry that we are back to living in an area with mediocre food.

I ate here on Saturday evening, and had a lovely night. The service was a bit slow- but not terrible, and the food was good. Having enjoyed my experience, I decided to have a date night there this evening with my husband. HUGE mistake!! It's their Tuesday tapas night-- most of the menu items weren't true tapas- which is fine. But there was no Latin music as advertised-- just a duo on keyboard playing some classical music and some Van Halen... hardly enjoyable. The food was ok- nothing special, but not bad. However the service was atrocious. The waitress was nice enough, but in 2.5 hours we only got 5 tapas and 3 drinks. It took over 20 minutes for my husband to get a second drink. On our last 2 tapas (of a total of 6 ordered)- it took over 40 minutes for an order of fish tacos, and the Serano Ham and Manchego Cheese Croquettes were nowhere to be found. We told the waitress to just cancel the order, but she came back out and said the chef told her it would be only 5 more minutes if we wanted them to go. We reluctantly agreed to wait for them while waiting for the check. Well, 10 minutes later (yes, I did actually time it) she came with the check- and finally after 15 minutes the croquettes came out. Typically most restaurants would at least comp that item considering the wait (which she was apologetic for the entire evening)- instead they took only $5 off our bill (of $80- that was for a total of 6 tapas, 2 beers and 1 lambic). During the car ride home I was so hungry (as I only had two tapas myself) I decided to eat the croquettes... Well, it was only one larger one (don't put 'croquetteS' in the menu) and the inside was completely frozen!! I will never ever go here again!!

We just got back from Tapas Tuesday at Camelot! When I heard it was tapas, I was a bit sad as it is a chilly, rainy night and wanted something hearty, but we were pleasantly surprised! We've never had a bad meal here, and tonight was exceptional. Each dish was prepared just for us and was unique, delicious, and totally enjoyable. My husband and I split a sizzling chick pea dish with chorizo sausage, the tomato/ mozzarella/ basil dish, 2 cheeses with toast and honey, and a seafood medley lightly breaded and fried with a spicy marinara sauce. I don't know which was my favorite... The four dishes filled us up completely and we were on our way home in 1 hour. Amy is a delightful server, too :)

This restaurant is located on the property formerly occupied by the Milestone Ranch. Most of the 2.5 hours we spent there consisted of waiting, and the entire experience smacked of disorganization, lack of communication and poor management. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us and introduced himself. We asked if we could be seated on the patio, and he indicated that we should collectively move in that direction. He wandered over to a table to chitchat while we were en route to the patio. We went outside, saw that he had abandoned us, waited for a moment, and went back inside to consult the hostess, who was still under the impression that the owner had seated us. After finally being seated, our server eventually arrived; we ordered mojitos, which were below average (I drink a lot of mojitos), but not the worst. They were served in undersized (maybe 10 oz.) glasses and were $7. (For a point of reference, the well-made mojitos at my regular Abington area haunt are $6 for a pint glass). Then another server arrived, apparently not realizing that we already had a server. At least this server brought two sets of cutlery instead of one. In typical fashion, we ordered four appetizers to get a wide variety of flavor, as well as a dessert. The short rib flatbread was delicious. The tequila lime wings were okay, but odd, tasting more baked than anything else, and the tequila lime flavor was virtually absent. Second round of appetizers consisted of "lobster sausage" and a bison burger. The "lobster sausage" was described by our server as "fishy, in a good way." Really, it was about as weird as it sounds. I found it to taste okay, but it had a consistency that would be generously described as spongy. I did detect imitation crab used in this dish. The bison burger was pretty good, with caramelized onions and Stilton cheese. We ordered medium, but it came out well; however, it was still reasonably juicy. Dessert was the sticky toffee pudding, and it was more like a carrot cake muffin sitting in a pool of caramel. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. As far as the service was concerned... our server was very sweet, but young and woefully inexperienced, almost awkward at times. We felt very much forgotten for multiple, long periods of time during our visit, and received multiple apologies. Also, it is very uncomfortable to have your server linger and wait for your check while you are figuring it out. What was once my favorite patio in NEPA has been stripped of landscaping and vibrance and is now as nondescript as they come. No more music, as the jukebox is gone. The interior, which once had character and flair, now resembles a boring suburban-type dining room. Although I would not say Camelot crashed and burned, it definitely failed to give me a reason to return.
